After US Airways flight 1549 emergency landed safely in the Hudson river, the airplane's remains needed to be trucked through E. Rutherford, NJ on their way to an FAA hanger to be evaluated.  The little town wasn't quite ready for the Airbus A320.

something irrelevant(?)

The Hills Have Eyes




These portraits of women in Africa, Asia, and South America were done by the French photographer JR.  The prints were then illegally plastered to buildings, trains, buses etc... as a sort of gesture against wartime violence.  This is the website for the project.
